The Hebridean Tea Company was established on the Isle of Lewis, preparing ground for tea in 2016. Kenny, Bruce, Iain and Gareth were looking for ways to diversify the use of their crofts. Bringing the Outer Hebrides into the growing tea producing movement in Scotland seemed a natural step.
They use natural ingredients such as heather and wild flowers found on their crofts to smoke and blend with Scottish grown tea. The tea called Island Smoked Scottish Black Tea is reflects the wild coastal facing crofts found in eastern Lewis and is available to purchase through The Wee Tea Company.
While the team builds the business, they needed a simple landing page site with links to the retail outlets for their smoked tea. This ensures they have a web presence up to the point where they can launch an e-commerce site in the future.
